– Become familiar with mental health challenges unique to immigrants.

– Gain a better understanding of the trauma and loss in this population.

– Understand cultural expectations of therapy.

– How to notice what comes up in the presence of differences with clients.

– Explore biases and stereotypes in a supportive and safe environment.

– Learn how to deal with our struggle with uncomfortable feelings of unfamiliarity.
