Leela Hunter, MFT
I am an IFS therapist offering one-on-one therapy. I also offer consultation for new therapists. In addition, I serve as the Clinical Director at Upspiral.life, a year-long Manifestation program.
I believe that the most effective way to guide my clients and students through transformative psychotherapy models is to embody these practices in my own life. Mental health and self-inquiry are not just professional pursuits for me—they are foundational to my personal well-being.
My approach is holistic, primarily rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Polyvagal Theory. I integrate Mindfulness Meditation and somatic-based practices, along with influences from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am formally trained in all these modalities and currently work as a Program Assistant for IFSCA, a Canadian organization that trains practitioners in the IFS model and the IFS Institute.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with family and friends.
